Residence Hall Students

Qualifying undergraduate residence hall students bringing a vehicle to campus may store their vehicle in the designated overnight parking if they have a valid overnight parking permit. All vehicles with WC5 permits are required to park in this Carmack 5 overnight lot Monday through Friday 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM. On weekends (4:00 PM Friday until 3:00 AM Monday), residence hall students with this permit are permitted to move their cars to Central Campus in a surface parking lot only.

Residence hall students with a junior or above status are eligible to purchase an overnight CP proximity permit.

Commuter Late-Night Parking

Commuter students must remove vehicles from campus by 3:00AM. However there are occasions when studying and access to facilities may require students to park past this time. If a customer needs to park past 3:00AM and has a C permit, they must move the vehicle to one of the C spaces in the designated areas listed below. The late-night areas are closely monitored to detect abuse (parking a vehicle on campus without moving it for 24 hours or more). The designated garages require the purchase of commuter student evening garage permit to allow garage parking. A WC permit must use the Remote West Campus overnight location listed below. Regular parking regulations for these areas resume at 5:00AM.

Fluctuating work schedules may require faculty and staff vehicles to be parked on campus for longer periods of time. If there is a need to park a vehicle longer than 72 hours, arrangements for off-campus parking should be made. Vehicles found parked longer than 72 hours will be cited as abandoned and moved at the owner’s expense.

Summer Term

During Summer Term, Students, Faculty and Staff with Remote West Campus or Buckeye Lot Permits may upgrade their permit to a Central Campus Permit. Customers may bring their current permit back to the CampusParc Customer Service Center, complete a new application card, and pay the difference in price between the Remote Parking Permit and Central Campus parking permit.

Central Campus permits are required to park on Central Campus during Peak-Hours. Any customer with a Remote West Campus or Buckeye Lot Permit that wishes to park on central campus during Summer Term must upgrade to a central campus permit.
