As part of CampusParc's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone utilizing Ohio State's parking facilities, we would like to remind you about the importance of emergency light testing. Emergency lighting plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of occupants during unforeseen events such as power outages or emergencies.
Regular testing and maintenance of emergency lights are essential to guarantee their proper functionality when needed the most, and to ensure that our parking facilities meet all the mandatory Ohio Fire Code requirements.
From Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, each Ohio State parking garage will undergo 90-minute emergency light testing. Testing will begin at 8 p.m. and emergency lighting will be present. For motorists traveling through the garage while testing is occurring, facility lighting will be darker than usual.
